Fibber: a free, online Fibbage-style bluffing game

< Back to the arcade

Fibber is a free, browser-based bluffing party game in the style of Fibbage. Each round you write a fake answer convincing enough to fool everyone, then try to pick the real answer out of the room's lies. No Jackbox Party Pack to buy, no app to install, no signup. Start a room, share the link, and play with up to 15 friends or coworkers in one browser tab.

How it compares to Fibbage

Same bluff-the-room trivia mechanic as Fibbage: everyone invents a convincing lie, then hunts for the truth among everyone else's. The difference is access. Fibbage needs the paid Jackbox pack and usually a shared host screen plus everyone's phones. Fibber is free, runs in a single browser tab, and needs no separate purchase or app. What Fibbage has that Fibber does not: Cookie Masterson's voiced question packs and the full Jackbox production. Fibber is the stripped-back, free version of the same idea.

How to play

  • Read the prompt with a missing answer, then write a fake answer to fool the room.
  • Everyone's lies and the real answer are shuffled together.
  • Pick the truth. Fool others into picking your lie to score.
  • Most points across the rounds wins.
